If I'm going to go the route of sharing a password, why wouldn't I just put a .txt or .html file with my email body in a password-protected/encrypted .7z or .zip and just send it with plain old gmail? My buddy doesn't h

I know the pro-Apple bias is high here at HN, but this is just sad. Almost all developers in corporate America use WIndows. If you work outside of silicon valley at a company with more than a few dozen people, chances are you're proba

Did... did he really call React "minimalist"?! I'm not sure this guy has ever attempted to build any actual webapps with React, because that's certainly not a term that anyone would use that had.

Now on Tap is available anywhere in Android (even when you don't have a keyboard / input area displayed) by just holding down the home / circle key. There's no switching of apps required.

I apologize, as I seem to be failing to convey my message to you. My assertion: Apple is dropping. Be careful about investing in Apple-only techs like Swift. Your argument (I think): Apple is not dropping like a rock. To support your argum

I didn't really want to get into the reasons why. I was just pointing out that investing in an Apple-only tech might be a bad idea because it sure looks to me (and the stock market) that Apple has peaked and is now on the decline. How

You may have missed the announcement where MS bought out Xamarin and is now giving it away for free. You owe it to yourself to at least give it a try while waiting for actual cross-platform Swift. 90+% of your mobile code can be shared bet

I'd also recommend Telegram. Whether or not secret (end-to-end encrypted) chats are implemented is up to the client's author. Not having secret chats in Telegram Desktop was a decision of the author - https://github.com

I believe the problem was that if you did /google or !google on your bots for various chat platforms, you were able to find the top hit or two without ever looking at Google's Ads. Most of their revenue is ads.
