The bet was close to even odds. Also since this was a one time bet, with the downside of (probably) him never betting again, even if it payed out 10x the money he bet, you would still want to be pretty sure you were right -- and not just &q

Should have sent them a password locked program called *DoorHasBeenCracked". The only thing it does is post passwords to an http server that you control. There is a good chance they try their own password on it. New school phishing att

It isn't about hurting anyone, it is about having some pride as a trickster/troll. You played a good prank, your roommate figured it out. Time to move on. Anyone can lie through their teeth, that's not clever at that point.

I guess I'm wondering if Google actually cares. Seems like if they think it will help employee productivity to let them hangout at work 24/7 then seems like a win for everyone. Maybe they formalize it and set up a few bunk beds wi

One way is referral links. If you click on a link in my email and buy something on, say, Amazon, I could potentially make up to 10% of the purchase price (Amazon is actually normally around 5% I think).

I'm guessing people don't mean that if you used jQuery you are a bad developer. Just that, if you are a good developer, you don't rely on it and can write the vanilla version if needed. EDIT: In this case, I'm wrong, the
