I'm genuinely curious if we stuck VR headsets on kids, and had the proper software, if their would be any better results. I'm one of the people who think there won't be a VR/AR revolution any time soon, but I do think th

I mind it in that I'd like to pay less, but I personally think Apple has every right to control their own ecosystem and charge whatever they want to be listed in their store, on their hardware. I think it is a tough pill to swallow for

Notepad++ is still one of if not the best and most reliable pieces of software I’ve ever used. Better than sublime IMO. VLC coming in at a close second. These two are probably the last “snappy” pieces of software I use, besides maybe termin

I think it is $10 via apple, $8 via Epic. They're gaining an extra $1 on direct purchase, but that isn't really the point of this.

Epic: Apple employs anti-competitive, anti-consumer practices, and we're fighting against that! Also Epic: We'll be locking as many games as we can afford behind Epic Store exclusive contracts since our store isn't good enoug

Does the article ever actually mention what he failed at? He developed an open source game engine and... what? Did he expect people to donate to him or something? What was the monetization plan?

Working out (not including warmup/cooldown) for 90 min, 7 days per week is insane and you will be less healthy. No rest day means you'll be over trained in less than two weeks, and your workouts will get worse over time. Not only

There was an experiment where they introduced "B2" which was a redesigned terminal and it looked and felt much more like a web browser. People hated it. They moved it to an opt-in feature. No one (except internal BB engineers) use

Probably a mix of manual and automated. I know where was a big stink semi-recently about them manually removing content from "ugly" and "poor" people. I guess no way to be 100% sure of the validity of the claims, but her

Too loud for apartments unfortunately. I've tried a few exercise machines (bikes, rowers, and air bikes), but Peloton is pretty much the only thing quiet enough for an apartment. I wish I could have a rower and assault bike, but my nei

There are a bunch of companies that technically have that, but you are pressured to work in the office and working from home more than once a month is looked down upon. I have noticed though that if you use kids as an excuse (valid or not)

Personally I can’t go back to a 60hz monitor at this point. So really can’t go to 4K until there is a reasonably priced 144hz monitor with low input lag and response times. I’m okay sacrificing color for speed (TN panels are okay with me).

You can't reverse most hashes, you can just check if one thing's hash is the same as another thing's hash. If they are, they're probably the same thing.
