I've been stuck with unupdated apps because Aurora hasn't been working for me for a while. A few of them have been nagging me to update. I have everything Google disabled or removed, and no I won't reenable any of it. Also I

Isn't satisfying the grader a task that was given by humans? Why do they need to talk about humans at all, when it's very unlikely that the task itself specified that it was human-given? Do you include in your prompts (if you even

Apps need to exit the Play Store. I have a whole slew of apps which haven't been updated for a while now because Aurora Store isn't working because of whatever Google of doing. Meanwhile the ones installed via FDroid and other mea

There will be no competition. Resource sharing will become cooperative where there is some temporary scarcity, but for the most part there will be no more scarcity, particularly re necessities. That's an outcome of 100% automation.

That makes no sense at all. The machines can only fulfill their purpose if they're serving humans, don't share our needs for the most part, and don't have any reason to desire marketplaces. Solid example can be seen in what h

Possible they also asked AI to do a "risk assessment" and just went with it.

Why do you think a random person being affected by Pegasus-like spyware is that low? The EU is pushing Chat Control pretty hard, and the US is outfitting ICE with an ever expanding arsenal of surveillance tools. There's a lot of stuff

There are 2 outcomes I think possible, both extreme due to just how transformative 100% automation will be: either A[G]I is shared (voluntarily by the "owners", or forcef via revolution) and everyone benefits sufficiently, or ther

There could be a Flock-like or Ring-like or some other device listening in on that face to face. And the phone running Signal or whatever might already be compromised by something Pegasus-like and sending whatever happens on it off to who k

I've had cases where I'm writing some long text in certain apps on my phone, screen goes off, and when I turn it back on that text is gone. Could be something similar, though I can't imagine any desktop app being that crappy.

Why would a human review it? That only drives up costs for the company. Easier to use algorithms for everything and maybe pay the occasional fine when something goes seriously wrong and legal proceedings result.

Problem is those services aren't very user friendly. After all most users want to maintain history, recover their account if they forget their password, and other things not exactly compatible with highly secure communications.

A lot of words here for something I think is simple and should be obvious to anyone who thinks about it for 5 minutes. Companies that can, will reach for AI to reduce cost. Those that can't will be killed by those that have. AI eventua

I have no problem here. If I notice that I'm getting markedly less than before, I'll just switch to Z.ai/GLM. Been on the edge for a while now just waiting for something to push me over.

Amazing that Anthropic is using this "broken and unusable" data center successfully, pushing new models and providing sufficient inference that we no longer have the absurd limits from the weeks leading up to them making that deal

Thing is, if you enable remote control for one session, it becomes globally enabled for all (which I personally prefer as I want to access all my sessions from my phone).
