They cynic in me assumes that even tech savvy people would much rather rationalize away NSA access to their Apple products than give them up. The easiest rebuttal is simply that every smartphone is equally at risk. A last resort will be to

I'm idly wondering how many of those protestors use Google or iPhones on a daily basis. If people really want to get some attention from these corporates, vote your displeasure with your wallet en masse.

Story title is patently false by the way. http://techcrunch.com/2013/11/25/microsoft-confirms-that-exc... Can't believe I'm linking to TechCrunch of all sites. Heh.

Seems like the fact they sold 1 million units in 24 hours in NA alone should put these DOA failures into perspective. It's a tiny, tiny number of consoles not working vs those that are.

So I guess next iPad revision will be the TouchID version. So we know Apple will still be printing money for the next 24 months at least

The overwhelming need to poo poo these results in here is pretty disgusting though expected I suppose. I'm interested in following those Surface numbers over the course of the next year. If they can get that revenue up to about a billi

Not sure why they went through all that hassle for a something that Apple will surely outlaw in a few weeks. Seems like an awful waste of time to me.

I'm just here to smirk at the old narrative - that the iOS customer doesn't balk at paying for stuff - being slowly whittled away as the march towards smartphone commoditization continues at pace.

As far as I know, "Reduce Motion" only turns off the parallax effect which as the article states, is NOT the problem. But I'll concede that it's possible that simply nobody at Apple experienced any sort of motion sicknes

I just get the feeling that someone at Apple probably should have spoken up but didn't. Who's going to tell Jony Ive that his UX might be causing motion sickness.

One wonders, pundits say mobile is the new hotness in gaming and console are slowly becoming obsolete. Does that mean games as immersive and expansive as GTA5 will cease to exist in a few years?

I used to suffer from this pretty consistently for years until I researched it on the web and understood what it actually was. From then on it reduced to maybe once a year. Funny how the mind works.

This would seem to imply that Brazilian consumers read the burning platform memo. I highly doubt that. I have a huge problem with people flat out claiming that Symbian was an acceptably competitive phone offering in 2010. That's a bald
