This is exactly why I am excited about the Arc GPUs. I have had rock solid stability with Intel iGPUs on Linux (yes, even compared to AMD which my desktop has). I don't need something super powerful but driving a 4k display or two with

My 5420s (~50 of them out of a ~200 laptop fleet) with an i5-1135g7 on Fedora Rawhide and CentOS 7 (with mainline kernel) don't seem to be affected by this, BUT I have a couple 5490s with 8656u CPUs that are. I should note that the 865

Even that doesn't help in cases as Google will interpret your jargon filled query to something that's a lower common denominator and return irrelevant results regardless.

Have you tried using Windows 10/11 with on-access and behavioral AV (not defender) on 4gb of RAM and a 5400rpm spinning disk? I find it entirely plausible that they have to wait an hour plus for the machine to become remotely responsiv

With olive oils you can prevent this by purchasing PDO or PGI olive oil. If you cook often it's worth the slight bump in price to know you are getting good oil. I love me a nice peppery Sabina olive oil.
