Indeed it is! Also to add. If you can't work out the answer to that question then don't feel pressured into trying to force it. It's ok not be able to answer the question. Life is a search for meaning. Sometimes it comes, som

You know what? You don't need to do anything for now. What you need to do over the next few months is answer a single question: "What do I want to do with my life?"

I think you need to go with one you are comfortable with. That said - there will undoubtedly be bias depending on the company. For example I had a phone screen for a company that used Ruby and Go and I suggested C# and javascript because I

Just to add to the lineage conversation; Derrick May released a remix of Sueno Latino in 1992. It was based on E2 - E4. Derrick May also played Exit by Tangerine Dream on a BBC radio 6 set a few years ago which he said was a big influence o

I don’t think so. We were near Tywyn. So Pembrey is probably a bit far south.

I was camping in west Wales (UK) in summer and there were some really odd sounds coming in off the sea. The sounds were not audibly ‘loud’; you could here them but they sounded like they were a long way off. What was strange was that they ‘

I’ve loved Suzanne Vega’s music since I had her first album on cassette when I was about 13 years old. I finally got to see her live last year whe she toured her Solitude Standing album as a 30 year anniversary - she did the whole album and

I was a child when it was first broadcast and I loved it. It was the inspiration for many a childhood game. We always used to argue about who was going to be who - everyone wanted to be Blake, no-one wanted to be Servalan. I think I recall

I’m really interested in understanding this. So please indulge me... So, I’m Oumuamua rocking my way through interstellar space. I see nothing around me so as far as I know I’m not spinning. Then, all of a sudden I happen upon a solar syste

What I meant was, the origin of the object may have been in a different inertial frame of reference to our solar system, so the 'spin' as far as it is concerned is not spin.

I'm still convinced this is an alien probe. I mean look at that trajectory. 0.163 AU from Earth - what are the odds? The spinning is irrelevant surely - I mean, it's all relative, so as far as ’Oumuamua is concerned, we're sp

I have to concur with this. I tried the Impossible polaroid film a few years ago and it's not very good compared to the original polaroid film and the Instax film. I use the Instax mini now and it's a great little instant camera.

Some companies I’ve worked with aren’t able to specify their requirement. Sometimes it’s better to say to them - let’s build a product that adheres to your stated requirements, and then you can use it. This allows them to identify all the p

This is pretty much the pattern I follow. People like to come up with solutions and so they ask - can you do this? The answer is of course ‘yes’, but it’s not necessarily the correct solution to the unstated problem.

The picture of Spring Gardens looks 1970s judging from the fashion. At least 1969 from the number plate - ‘H’ reg. I was initially going to say 1970 - but apparently 1967 saw both E and F registered cars. I never knew that.
