I've just spent a few days using Ionic to mockup up a front end app. It would take a few days more to create a back end and that would be a complete app. This rapid development cycle is incredible. I've got the app running in ios

Interesting idea. I've tried to exercise most of my life, and running is a favourite - however, my legs/knees can't take the impact any more and I'm much more into cycling. I really want to exercise after I get up in the

I've been down voted on here for an anti FB post before. And I wasn't even saying anything that contentious. I have since stopped using Facebook because of all the regurgitated noise that appears in my timeline.

This is not my understanding of the Fermi Paradox and I've never heard this interpretation before. The paradox is; given the Drake equation, where is everyone? That's all it amounts to, hence the paradox. The author of the article

30 years ago when I was 13, I experienced all the things described by the author. I over valued my peers' opinion, I disregarded my parents' words of advice. Isn't it normal to feel these things? It's how an individual g

I totally agree with your points - the market economy finds ways to monetise and that's its job. I'm not actually a big fan of Bowie, I'm a bit too young, but it's something I'm observing. I'm also aware that t

Facebook annoys me so much, I've stopped using it. It really is like an addiction. We've outsourced our feelings of belonging to Facebook. We want to be careful with that.

I think Bowie was the antithesis of this. If you'll forgive the hyperbole, he is the archetypal outsider, the patron saint of the dispossessed. So for all those who don't feel that they belong, Bowie's activities provided a m

Nothing to do with the function, but the form... I really struggle with white on black text. Most of the internet is black on white, so, when switching back to a light screen I see black line after images. I really dislike it.
