We are talking about people who don't have access to the electric grid. Honestly I am not in the position to judge their choice and how they decided to provide for themselves. If we (as relatively wealthy people in the world) really wa

Always thought that a great statup idea would be to interact with dedicated server provider and offer on top of those cheap servers AWS like services. The most common services like S3, Kafka, RDS (pg and mysql), Redis should be enough to co

I am in the fortune situation where I work on very low level details of foundational technology. Basically I believe that I got like 20 colleagues (people working on the same topic as myself) everywhere in the world, and all of them in big-

How wide need to be the market? It is useful to focus on a single technology or it can be as wide as a general topic?

It is not expecting Devs to know the foundamnetals, developer should know why it is faster to look for elements in an hash map than in a list. It is expecting to code an hash map from scratch in ten minutes on a whiteboard. (And hash map ar

After working for several years in reputable organisation, how bad can somebody be at coding? Yes there is still a tiny possibly that it is just a talker, but such possibility seems much smaller than the possibility that it pass a coding in

The reality I see, is that all of us are overworked / with a lot of responsibilities. So it is easy to miss important emails or details. As long as we are close to each other, very important things don't get lost.

I am sorry but you are wrong. Your understanding of the concept is not complete yet. Close but not complete. Memory leak has a specific meaning. A memory leak is memory that is been allocated but cannot be accessed and deallocate anymore. H

I have less than 20 environments to configure and it is already extremely messy in gitlab CI. So messy that at the moment it is just a little toy and it will never actually work in production. With 90? No there is no way you can create a re

The thing that is really missing in gitlab CI is the impossibility to define a matrix for builds. We have to do the same actions on different environments and it is very troublesome.
