I think the question is highly related to "why are feathers and rainbows beautiful" and while rainbows signal rain, it's connection to food surely at most half of the story.

It can be trained some form of trustfulness, and a measure of certainty is intrinsically part of the model (compare with image to text models etc "70% cheetah 10% dog") In any case it can be trained to assert confidence via a side

Contrary to all the naysayers I think a future version of GTP will be trained to evaluate its own certainty and express this verbally. Probably through an extra training channel.

This seems a bit outdated. There was a recent blog post by intellij Raider that showed that you can just compile to wasm by adding the wasi nuget package, no extra steps required.

Is it easier to guess the master keyword if some of the encrypted passwords are known to the attacker? Because on dozens of (previously hacked?) "unimportant" sites I still used a very week common password.

Wow! At the speed of around 0.15 you can see all the relevant computations: Every few seconds three glider triples get sent out, obviously directly representing the 9 neighboring cells. These interact with some lane shifting and 90 degree r

To me julia is the perfect mathematical toy language with great fundamentals and prospects of becoming a serious language once the compile time issues are fixed. It does so many things very right and always from first principles, not ad hoc

Julia has the most beautiful syntax but a doubtful runtime/toolchain. Rust has the most beautiful runtime/toolchain but a doubtful syntax.

by singularity2001 4y ago
it's not pointless when you look into the future: julia having bugs is very different from other languages being fundamentally conceptually flawed (like perl ruby c?)... some of those bugs were already fixed

keeping fire alive was a real thing way before making it ex nihili. so this wouldn't contradict the correlation with brain size. if it went or you could get it from your neighbor or long distance transport from natural sources.

by singularity2001 4y ago
Be careful, there were distinct developmental steps: opportunistically using fire keeping and transporting fire making fire, intentionally and controlled the last step may have been discovered only in the last 10-100000 years, expert opinio
