Would Monero not eventually run into the same energy inefficiency problems as Bitcoin?

If there was a vulnerability that allowed anyone to open your car and drive off with it, you wouldn't care if he was the first to find it or not. You'd only care about it getting fixed before anyone else knows about it. I'm n

Red herring. Twitter will never have the power to throttle competing websites. This is completely unrelated.

I'd love to see a side-by-side comparison to Marko.js ( https://markojs.com/ ). It has a lot of react-like features, but was built from the ground up for SSR speed.

To be fair, paper money requires banks & bank employees, bullet-proof transportation trucks, government regulation, anti-counterfeit research & technology, and perhaps more.

Isn't koa flexible enough for you to build a framework on top of it to accomplish your goals of elegance and simplicity? That way you could take advantage of the ecosystem that already exists, instead of trying to bootstrap your own.

Tests are a way to judge what it does. It does the judging for you, ensuring features work as advertised, and provide usage examples that are guaranteed to work.

What are you trying to say? What insight do these assertions give us on the human visual system?

It's not too different from a static type system. Humans are great at general problem solving, but computers are better at precision (but only when you can precise measure something).

Completely agree. I've had a team member able to quickly contribute a change to a project he didn't work on due to static typing keeping his code within the guard rails. It's very valuable.

Not quite free – you're paying in ram. EDIT: I mean more ram than you would use in Sublime. You already paid by buying a faster computer. Some don't want to upgrade their computer; in this case, sublime is well worth its price.

As usual, the answer probably lies somewhere in the middle. There are things you can control, and there are things that you can't. Improve the things you can, and don't feel bad for the things you can't.
