But doesn't that lead to the extinction of the human race? What good is it for mankind to save the environment if it sacrifices itself in the process?

> We don't use cloth diapers with our daughter, so those go to the landfill. Isn't that simply a consequence of how people today and in the past decided to solve these problems in general? This issue is not limited to diapers.

How does Signal's chat security compare to Keybase.io's chat? Keybase has more features, but if it's not as secure, then it doesn't matter.

If you watch the DOM then it might be more compatible with things like jQuery plugins, which operate directly on the DOM instead of your JS object in memory somewhere.

Personally I love standing desks. I find myself naturally walk around more often, especially when I'm in deep thought. This rarely happens when I'm sitting, as it feels much harder to get up. But it's good to have a sitting o

The "outrage" is the people making their voice known. If there were no outrage at all, our politicians would take that as us not caring, and thus have the freedom to listen to the big companies without repercussions. Now that we&#

Thanks for the links. What you say is true, but not the whole truth. According to your third link, ISPs can censor as long they clearly disclose it to customers.

From the post you linked: > The only real roadblock is money. Fiber ISPs are super cheap at scale, but are effectively impossible to bootstrap unless you are already a millionaire. (I didn't downvote you)

It's likely cherry-picked. There are many small ISPs who signed a letter saying otherwise: > We [ISPs across the country] have encountered no new additional barriers to investment or deployment as a result of the 2015 decision to re

Keep in mind the FCC is not accountable to the public – we don't vote them in. However, we as the public still have power to push our representatives to encode NN as law. Now that NN has unfortunately been repealed, we can cue in Congr

The best reason to dismiss this article as propaganda is it does not give a reason why repealing Net Neutrality is good . All it says is "trust me, it won't be that bad". Garbage.
