I remember in the early wikipedia days, Jimmy Wales complaining (in a good natured way) how a bunch of anime series had more pages devoted to them on wikipedia then World War II.

Those costs are paid either way though, aren't they? At least, it seems that close to 100% of houses with roof-top solar are still grid connected, so I don't really see how they'd achieve any savings related to transmission

I don't really understand the advantage of rooftop solar over just putting the same number of solar panels in a field somewhere. Id think it would be a lot cheaper to install the panels in one-place then having to distribute them to a

The book was originally conceived as a graphic novel using some sort of software to generate the images from photographs of actors and props. The jacket was a prop for one of those photoshoots. You can see some examples of the art in one

As a native English speaker, I find written Vietnamese to be quite easy compared to other western languages. The grammar is relatively simple, and words only have one form, there's no changes due to gender/tense/number. Even

I think the 2 reasons people don't suspect Ukraine is that: a) it seems kinda implausible they have ability to blow up the pipe-line, nevermind to do so without being detected in what has to be the most cloesly monitored body of water

Feel like HN should start a collection to pay the author to finish the series, since it shows up here every few months, but the writer has (understandably) not had the time/inclination to complete it.

I mean, the article is about the landlord suing Twitter, so the question of how they plan to enforce the terms of the lease seems to have been answered. Note the landlord here is a big national firm. They're not going to be scared off

They'll lower rents in order to maximize profit. Number of units goes up, demand stays constant, the price will need to come down or they're stuck with empty units that generate negative profit.
