An idea... Take this (assuming it's not slop), relicence as GPL, submit upstream (imagine it's accepted for a moment...). If they proceed with license washing then from the Rust version, it's certainly derived work.

Not just AI agents... basically, if you cd Projects/foo, that should be it's own user (for running npm, etc) that should not have access to parent user data (probably including github tokens, etc).

+1 I agree... (except nested loops are rarely the problem, they are often the best/simplest alternative for join).

The hints are needed when you have a web scale / online transaction processing application, where you want to guarantee no table scan ever. Ideally, I'd want to rrun without statistics on the tables in that case (ie, no smart join

Dell and HP had trackpoints once (I had a HP one), maybe they still do.

They need to sell something. I bet sales of DDR5 related stuff are down.

At least the session manager should kill everything if xlock dies.

Fork should be replaced by vfork (or something better) in almost all situations.

I found this often for C# (and sometimes Typescript) related stuff... redirected to a question with a wrong/useless answer. For Java/Python/Javascript it was also the case, but often the answer (proper way of doing things)

Yes, this is why bugs get often worked around instead of being fixed properly.

Same here, auto-adding is a non-starter for me. Thankfully there's an option to not do it, not sure how well it works, but I'll have it enabled for the future when I try jj again.

We need to prevent direct connections to internet for containers... once you have a proxy, predefined credentials (api keys) can maybe be added there (per container/target).

Aren't they actually blocking alternative browser engines on IOS still?

Personally I'd be fine with the LAN mode assuming I don't have to use their cloud even once.

WASM requires a browser too, no? (or an equivalent runtime, possibly smaller depending on requirements)

I had an idea to always run 2 users, the "main" one (or more) and a "project one"... one could sudo to the project user, but that one could not sudo out... (npm would only be installed for the project user).

IMO, next crazy step is for terminal to just have wayland or X11 protocol ? (/s or not?)

I'd ideally want Obsidian to be a distro package, including any good plugins. No plugins from the "store".

IMO, everyone that launches/operates a constellation should pay for launch of large telescope every 5-10 years (assuming science organizations can fund/build them).

As it's not very small, it would be a lot cooler if it had a full no compromise TKL mechanical keyboard.
