It works, until I attempt to use "network" when it asks me to register online. Haven't done it, if it was mandatory it would go back as non-functional... Not sure what problems occur if you do it once but then disconnect from

I did the same with my Samsungs... no internet/network. But in the new one, I can't even use it in a private LAN (for DLNA, ...)... without connecting online. Doesn't bother me too much (HDMI from PC is superior anyway), but

HN is good, but threaded NNTP/USENET is easily better than any forum (in Emacs GNUS, or even Thunderbird). There might be better forums (something topic/tag oriented).

Every decent app should support copy paste with ctrl+insert/shift+insert and doesn't conflict with terminal use of control characters... The alternative is to stop using terminal emulators.

It was a great choice for XML... I've used XSLT to transform schemas into code many times.... (related: XSLT is more readable than JSON equivalent 'jq')

IMO, I'd install a local IMAP server and only use that (currently dovecot).

Yup. There needs to be considerable work to integrate snaps from completely sandboxed (no access to file system/network/hardware), to giving them controlled access to some resources, managed/monitored by root and/or user

Is there an integration with firewall that would block outgoing IPs not resolved by unbound DNS?

Vertical is the reason I haven't upgraded from dual 1920x1200 (but of the time single anyway). Although I'm looking at 1440p mainly for 120hz+. (1440p at 30+")

Why would only security researchers care about this? To everyone writing a service that accepts un-trusted (network, user) data this should be a very bad idea.

Precompiled headers are a workaround when you can't modularize your project / headers files. But to use them you commit to the wrong way, including everything the same way everywhere.... what you should do is include only minimal
