We really need EPUB support in browsers/OSs (in a safe way aka no JS extensions).

Hopefully in a VM (sandbox), like all proprietary software should be ran.

There should also be an reliable upgrade mechanism, so the app alway upgrades successfully and completely, no intermediate states where a network or other error would prevent offline functionality from working.

I'd love for browsers to have an opt-in mechanism to preserve that data (also snapshot/restore/import/export it).

Also, the physical controls never change, so it's much less mental effort if you do glance at them.

Agreed. It should be almost as simple to create a sub-task (of any task) as it's to comment. Also convert a comment to sub-task. Browsing is another problem...

Obviously, there will be a choice not to buy them / keep them offline.

Exactly. To control DoH we need to start to MITM all connections and block everthing else unless whitelisted.

+1 Also, in my experience, SQL query optimizers can also be unpredictable on complex queries (behavior changes with data size and statistics) which can cause them to suddenly change to slow execution plan when data grows or something is add

Different architectures is actually a smaller problem than evolution of data format. In-memory formats are not extensible by default.

It's useful sometimes. Other times, I'd love to have a feature that would maximize to the browser content area, keeping the tab navigation (including sidebar).

I have a small AWD crossover. Prefer it because it's shorter than a station wagon, for easier parking. Only raised an inch compared to a normal car (like a VW Golf). It can also pull a small trailer which is a weakness of most small EV

Separate WIFI/network for IoT devices. Do not route to the internet in any way (skip buying anything that requires it). Connect to windows (or other OS) PC only, non-routable. Disable all connections from that network to the PC.

The MAX is a system design issue... for reliability it should probably include at least a third AoA sensor.

Exactly. This is standard PC behavior (even older than IBM PC) for all keys other than a-z. Control/shortcut keys are bound to the physical key, not to the regional layout characters bound to them. The displayed shortcut is often show

File should detect all possible file types, there is no reason to detect only the first one... It should not be used as a file type detection anyway if you want a reliable system.

using file is a bad idea anyway... you can't rely on a command that performs guesswork (aka "smart"). It's been a cause of security holes in similar contexts (browsers sniffing mime type from file content/extensions

Personally I plan to vendor all dependencies. It would be nice to have cargo/rustc support 'allow_unsafe' per module and also for dependencies, so you know you have to review a dependency really well.
