That's kind of a hack, still best only used in implementation files, not headers.

It can be abused as an escape hatch, but it really shouldn't be.

Yeah, he complains about blocking being a problem then suggests thread-per-core... Personally I don't want thread-per-core in a general purpuse runtime, I believe C# and Go both do it correctly these days by starting new threads if all

I don't use Spotify, but I would consider it if I could download maybe 1 or 2 mp3 per month for offline use.

Especially some overclocked Intel ones?... maybe it's time to start undervolting/underclocking from the start... (personally I buy 65W limit CPUs by default).

Yes, if SQL statements would be replaced by a restricted object model, SQL injection is by definition impossible. But you can just "prompt inject" the LLM itself.

Yeah, I guess this is covered by "grid charge" which keeps going up with more solar.

You are now at 0.1%... now submit upstream in sensible chunks (function or maybe file/module), waiting for people to review (a few per week, maybe) and approve/merge.

Here (Slovenia), there is an intersection rule, speed limit is cancelled at next intersection (unless in a "30" zone, or a "town wide speed limit"). Good look recognizing this situation without GPS maps.

A better default would be to first kill the processes with largest over-commit, then other if needed.

I disagree... it should not allocate much (like 2x) more than it needs right now... (allocating virtual memory, but not committing is different, and should be handled with MAP_NORESERVE (or similiar)).

+1... every frame perfect is less important than lag (ie something should happen at next frame after user action). Pointer should be async with the rest of desktop anyway, unless the system is broken.

Yes, "untrusted" "app stores" should be sandboxed (including AUR, FlatPak, ...) Probably with a VM, at least as a default/option.
