Personally, I don't like it as it's too large.. and I keep hitting it by mistake... for a while I ran Thinkpads with a touchpad disabled, just using the "nub".

It's closer to proper width of the scrollbar than many modern ones :)

I fully expect to lose access to all accounts where this is a requirement... I also missed the "Linux" authenticator section.

Thanks... the screenshot looks good (and the setting to disable rounded corners is right there).

I'd like to simply filter vocals (for listening while work/coding/...)... any tools for that? Preferably local without requirement for AI/nVidia card...

IMO it's a big mistake that the RJ45 adapter sticks out, because the laptop is not thick enough... There is no good reason for that.. also, I'd like batteries with cylindrical cells.

Multiple servers... Even on reddit I'd want a separate user for separate groups of subreddits... (at least for posting, for reading it could work as you describe, probably client could authenticate at one server, but connect to others

I'd rather have a trailer/minivan rather than rent with no chance of ownership.

This (Nest, and other home devices) can't be profitable if it requires much customer service anyway... It just needs to work after install with no issues (or changes/regressions) for 10-20 years.

What do you mean cave... taskbar with those features is essential... If the OS doesn't have that, it sucks and I need 3rd party alternatives to make it usable.

I've noticed it sometime gets into an infinite loop in Firefox, but not chromium.... :( when: "checking if the connection is secure" but then when I "verify", then I get infinite loop again

Yeah... xterm with a few tweaks (and some pruning) would still be best for me.

Wrong, that's an insane amount of extra power consumption... maybe even 10% which is a lot. In Europe, we have (IMO stupid) rules not to have rear ligts on at daytime , to save power (<10W I'd guess) when daytime running lights

Yeah, I had an idea to have an IP for each container (which means almost every "containerized" application soon, possibly even every browser window).

Companies probably need to ban direct Chat AI access, and only allow it via proxy... also important to see if any business data is being leaked.

Yeah, I was looking at the cassete-combo version of the Sturmey Archer 3-speed, but I believe it would be obviously better if the top gear was direct connection (100/70/50% ratios, not 133/100/75%).

This is why I use Linux, where I can have a choice to run MATE for a decade while GNOME, MS/Windows (especially 11) (and Apple too) are destroying their systems (from my viewpoint at least).
