Land area, population, and natural resources have next to nothing to do with wealth or GDP. The UK will never be a small inconsequential country in any of our lifetimes.

Technically popcorn is just warming up liquids as well. I'd say that's all it's good at, which happens to have a handful of usecases(some frozen meals, popcorn, melting cheese, heating leftovers).

As a counterpoint to some other replies, I do this sometimes, not thinking at all about stocks but instead as a standardized abbreviation of sorts. Ms for example can mean tons of things from a title to multiple sclerosis to milliseconds.

I consider myself a technical person, perhaps not social media savvy anymore, and Mastodon confused the hell out of me. I don't think it stands a chance with regular Joe.

I guess one question I have is did Netflix partner with other CDNs? Despite their already huge presence, Amazon for example has multiple CDNs involved for capacity for live events. Same for Peacock.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but you typically use your A players for hiring/interviews. It can be both true that Netflix has God tier talent and a bunch of idiots. In fact, that's probably true of most places. I guess

AFAIK those three farm out to CDNs with tons of edges who know what they're doing. I have a feeling Netflix said 'how hard could this be?' and is finding out right now.

Yep. They told me they(the team) don't know what happened, never saw it, and to apply again. I tried, but the system wouldn't allow it (it was one of those outsourced HR things, I forget the name). It was more an exploratory thin

I had a similar situation/question. I knew an old coworker who was eagerly trying to get me on their team at another company. They said I had to apply and then they'd take it to their manager who was already on board with the id

The 'reputable' news(collectively) did this to themselves. They figured out at some point you could get more viewers by confirming their biases one way or another. So much so that ask about anyone, and they'll claim the oth

Of all the states I've lived, TN blew me away wrt internet the most, by far. Most have heard about EPB over in Chattanooga. KUB in Knoxville recently did the same thing. But those aside, it seems like every little nook and cranny ha

Far from it - the F150 has been the best selling vehicle for over 40 years, and they do nearly 200b in revenue. I think they just quit competing on price and volume - they've gutted their entire car lineup except for the Mustang, for e
