Property developer here. I have zero faith that NYC would not put rent control on new units in the future. I will invest nothing in NYC and will tell every other developer I know to avoid it like the plague.

Absolutely horrifying that this scam is taking up over half of the federal court case docket. All of the attorneys involved should be disbarred and jailed.

Pointing out here this comment wants to hold the successful back, not advance the poor. It's not a zero sum game.

For all the folks on the left who dislike this sort of thing: would you agree with trying to make sure that this cannot happen again? If that is the case, we need to work together to massively shrink the federal government. You can still ha

What a nightmare. Today, I posted an article critical of doctors, pointing out that legislation strictly limits the number of new doctors each year, this driving up medical costs (and doctors salaries). Imagine if I couldn't post that?

People blame insurance, but insurance is just a willing punching dummy. Insurance just charges a percentage over the base costs. This is why every president who has tried insurance reform has failed. The guilty are the hospitals and the Ame

Bill Gates gets attacked by both the right and the left. But the truth is that he has made huge progress for human welfare in working to eradicate serious diseases as well as by bringing practical solutions to climate issues.

Gotta love this... The companies running these (Amazon, Google) push hard on the narrative of how green they are, but their executives fly private everywhere and their data centers run on gas jet engines.

Protests do not work, armed rebellion does. That is why America's founder's built in the second amendment right to bear arms... Explicitly so the people could fight back against corrupt governments.
