What I thought was interesting is the movement seems similar to the involuntary positioning I have observed in individuals with hyperventilation syndrome (hands curled in over sternum). I have no idea if these are related though.

I tend to agree, though not in all cases. If I’m reading because I want to learn something, I don’t care how the material was generated. As long as it’s correct and intuitive, and LLMs have gotten pretty good at that, it’s valuable to me. I

The anti-“master” argument feels pretty weak to me, but just as weak as the vehement opposition feels hidebound. It’s a name of a thing. If it changing it makes more people happy and likely to contribute, why not.
