There should be an Epiphany manual with details on what sort of different processors are on the board or SoC. Separate ARM architecture and related manuals should be available from arm.com

Thanks. I am very much interested in making a similar setup of my own on a Raspberry Pi. Do you recall what were the IPv6 issues with Rasbian? Also, do you have any concerns about potentially going against Comcast policies which appear to

Does your Comcast IPv6 address ever change on you? If yes, do you have any tricks to keep your HTTP servers accessible?

What is there to acknowledge or discuss? Ancient BSD history doesn't seem particularly relevant to modern-day Linux, and not just in the context of BPF. E.g. no one refers to "sockets" as Berkeley Sockets any more. AFAIK,

Redhat (or someone like them) might keep the lights on for Python 2 if a large enough customer leans on them.

Why too bad? Sounds like you have a useful and realistic project and you don't plan to waste time on 2 -> 3 busy work.

Solaris is not that accessible to most people the way Linux is. And containers are overkill when all you need is the ability to put things in a sub-directory.

About picking and choosing package versions; isn’t it straightforward to keep whatever versions of packages you want under ~/quicklisp/local-projects ? Or is there a need for a more sophisticated tool for this?

Thanks for 'you want changes in proper commit objects as early as possible'. I can't tell you how much time I have wasted with a botched index.

No, I prefer small meaningful commits. I am not for or against the index. I have no problems switching my brain between git add -A or -p as necessary. Like you said, it happens too often that someone sends you a huge pile of code (C code

At what point do you test these "cleanly separable" and "bisectable" patches? Do you do a second pass where you check out and build/test each of these commits?

Not entirely FOSS. Looks like you need some binaries to actually build it. https://wiki.illumos.org/display/illumos/How+To+Build+illumo...

Agreed. Every mundane bug or misfeature doesn't need its own website or 20-page analysis. Fix things and move on to the next thing that needs fixing. There is an endless supply of broken things.

Why not build with -rpath $ORIGIN/../lib etc? Wouldn’t that make the rpath fixups unnecessary? The whole tree should remain portable.

Thanks! That’s good to know. Perhaps getting gokrazy going on the Pi Zeroes will not be a huge task. 32-bit userland probably already works on the 64-bit Pi 3 kernel.
