4 Years is not much. HN starts to fall in pattern as a lot of stuff you do. There are those new cool hip stuff, papers, a few deep inside blogposts and it repeats itself. Enjoy HN as long as it holds :)

This facebook post sounds like a murder. I do understand that it isn't nice or anything but that post blows it up to much which leads to disliking it.

"And another one bites the dust" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY0WxgSXdEE ) Personally better/fancier food delivered sounds strange. I cook at home when i like good food or i go out and enjoy it outside.

I would prefer a way of downvoting things like this but i can't. Instead i read it because it was posted. Is there a relevant amount on information of going out of business, no one used and no one cared for?

Our Buildsystem (Jenkins) needs CPU and RAM. Couldn't bother less with SATA Performance. Frontendserver also: Only needs CPU and RAM.

Hell of work around a few git commands. Screencast, website, promo. I prefer aliases i configure myself to understand them, most of my colleges don't even bother with that detail of git commands at all and use an ui.

I don't think that big api's like dropbox, paypal, google and co. are changing that often. And because i have to update the library from CloudRAIL anyway, where is the gain?

Or don't. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There is a story of mysql as a company who had an employee who was not reachable for a few months. Yahoo got there workforce back at the office. I personally like to have the opt

Awesome article! Not one practical comparison between java and Kotlin. Anyway as any hype like scala and co. Java works very well, has small issues and no issue which really hurts me.

They have already 'issues' by paying 2k per month for firebase. I don't think you start at some provider for under 500 euros per month for support only. The initial setup is probably much higher. And than you don't have

I was not talking about city streets. And it doesn't matter. How long do you think does it take for a car to go to a highway? It doesn't take to long is still much cheaper. In munich you have a autobahn/cityring in the city.

There is often enough a clear understanding why something is stupid. Freaking solar roadways got 2 Million and more. A City payed them 500k to install that stuff. It is not hard to calculate the stupidity of this. Especially of a couple who
