Not sure if we’re talking about the same thing. These slower drivers aren’t any safer: they’re weaving around each other and impeding faster traffic from passing. They’re arguably more dangerous because of that. And the flow of traffic is

Traffic is rarely “free flowing” at any speed on these kinds of roads. Often I see “moving roadblocks”: clumps of cars going around or just under the speed limit jockeying around each other, impeding other traffic from moving around them. S

Call of Cthulhu, Pathfinder, Harnmaster (my personal favorite--too bad it had such a shitty IP fight/divergence), Warhammer, Amber, Cyberpunk, and hundreds/thousands more. People in this space are incredibly creative.

All innovation is composition plus random generation. That’s a fairly bold claim. What supporting data do you have to justify it?

Who are Trump supporters fearful of, other than the government that is actively attacking them? People who aren't white, people who aren't straight, people who are transgender, people who aren't Christian extremists, people

It's not preventing other stores period. It's preventing other stores in their store . You're arguing against a point I didn't make.

Sorry, a person's right to be a complete moron (opening a door while a car is moving) doesn't trump everyone else's right to not be endangered by said moron.

How do you suppose the central authority gained that control in the first place? They fomented this exact sort of "hate of the Other" to whip a certain kind of person into a fearful frenzy. Trump's doing the same thing today

If you want to have an analogy along those lines, Apple is more like a Starbucks prohibiting coffee bean providers other than the ones it has agreements with from coming into Starbucks locations to sell their coffee beans.

They aren't preventing anyone from buying a competitor's donuts. At one point I had both an Apple and a Google Android phone. Apple preventing other app stores on iOS is more like Starbucks preventing Peet's from coming into

How is Apple a monopoly? They have a huge competitor in the mobile phone market: Google/Android. I could see arguing that Apple and Google are a duopoly.

I see it (and worse) every day on the southbound 101 between the airport/Millbrae and 3rd ave exits, and on the northbound side between the 92 bridge onramp all the way up to the airport. They do get tailgated. They just don't c

Judging by the way motorcyclists in the bay area drive, "obsession with safety" is about the last thing I'd accuse them of. They're some of the worst offenders for weaving and doing dangerous stuff in crowded traffic con

I don't know why you're being downvoted. Hell, the freeways in the Bay Area are already clogged up by morons like the ones going 55 mph in the express lane (which baffles me, as you have to pay , a lot during rush hour, to use

Vault isn't easy to use at any kind of larger scale, though. It works well enough for small deployment infrastructure. Once you get to a certain size, all of HashiCorp's tech starts to show its poor, overengineered design in both

It's not always about sex. One of my friends just wants companionship from younger people. In many ways, the "daddies" like him are the most victimized by these fraud "babies". It's sad, and I just wish he had

You’d be surprised at how many younger people there are who are legitimately attracted to older people. Aside from that, the “purely transactional” nature of these relationships is more nuanced than you suggest.

And this sounds like a convenient way to dismiss criticism/comparisons of new vs old. Not every such thing is an old man raging at change he doesn't understand. Sometimes there actually is some merit to the criticism.

It's predatory, really. The people paying for this are desperate for a relationship of some sort. The people selling are basically taking advantage of someone by what amounts to fraud.

I think there's definitely a qualitative difference, though. Salad fingers, at least, had better quality "stories", and the weirdness was less "basic." Skibidi Toilet is an excellent representation of the hyper-ADHD

This implies you know how the human creative process works. I doubt you do: it's an unsolved problem, like most things in this category (intelligence, creativity) dealing with how our brains function.

I think you're engaging in a bit of humor, here, but Trump was born at the top of the socioeconomic ladder. There's nowhere for him to go but down . I don't think this study applies to people like him.

No, layout is not trivial. However, the approach CSS has taken to solving it is unnecessarily complicated compared to the complexity of the problem. It is without a doubt the most complicated, worst system I've ever seen for layout.

The problem of layout is not nearly as complicated as the spaghetti mess of code presented in this article implies.
