Labor is a market. Google has always had very different salaries and have been pretty explicit about it saying they were aiming to have among the top salaries in the labor market for each posting. I was shocked how low Paris Google salaries

I don't think it's intentional but think it's still possible for it to be a net positive. All it takes is one person who was on the fence or else too rich to bother deciding "oh well" to make it worthwhile for Tesla

There are also plenty of people with relatively calm demeanors that achieved similar success leading companies. Google's founders, Buffett, etc.

These people seem to be under the illusion that FSD is getting near to being only as flawed as humans who can drive hundreds of thousands of miles without incident. By contrast from the couple dozen FSD Beta drivers who upload to youtube FS

If any of these conservative social media apps succeeds it'll be the one Trump jumps on. Given his nature, he is going to make sure to get very well compensated for picking the winner.

I think Google can bribe just as well. The difference is politicians feel like Google and its business model are more actively disliked because the media is very focused on it, particularly the more left-leaning and right-leaning media. I t

Manual weeding is really not a job people want to do in the developed world. IMO it's the worst part of farming in that requires working at ground level all day and needs to be done every couple weeks. It will wipe you out physically.

If making a search engine like Google was easy to do Apple, Microsoft or Amazon would have done it long ago. Of any of these Apple is the worst position to do it since they don't have the same scale of infrastructure as the others.
