Couldnt one just use ice in a pond as a basis for a beginning perfectly flat surface? Then perhaps use clay or something similar poured onto it to create an initial flat surface and build up harder materials from there?

I’m living in Europe and the general consensus is these rules have cause more harm than benefit. You cannot force diversity quotas without hurting everything about the freedom of starting your own business.

From a quick read-through of the docs, I really love that the language is providing a fresh take on things without the super-junior promise of trying to “solve everything”. I’m impressed and will take a closer look.

I love the fake papers. I think it is necessary, like a Snowden move, to expose how bad publications are at weeding out bad data and conclusions. It only serves to make the publishers look bad, not the writers.

I live in Sweden and have learned not to trust science produced by institutions coming from Nordic countries. They tend to be heavily pushed and skewed by politics. Just put a little skeptic hat on for this one.
