Ok thanks, I get that. But how many people can do that? Like 0.001% of the population?

So you don't trust large US tech companies. Fair. But why do you expect people can trust a group of anonymous developers building open source smartphones?

I think it is even more depressing that there is no push back on EU level. Even worse, there are plans to further push for mass surveillance. https://european-pirateparty.eu/pirates-commissions-ai-propo...

I regularly do IF and have seen great results for my weight and blood pressure. Just a word of caution about this study: it’s still only an animal model (rats). Should be added to the title for clarity.

Yeah fair enough. What does the world need sounds similar to the money point in my opinion. btw: Ikigai doesn’t say anything about that. The framework is made up and referenced to Ikigai by a western dude as far as I know.

It depends on your personality. Some people can live without a calling. I can’t. What helps me a lot is to review the Ikigai attributed framework regularly and to think which of the dimensions is important for me and who I do currently alon

Many of my friends doubled down on their alcohol use during the pandemic. This might be another side effect of lockdowns that will kill people and simply be ignored by decision makers.

But why? The real underlying reason might that we (the EU) don’t have large consumer Internet companies…

In my experience it’s a bit more nuanced than that. My experience is that IT and finance people simply have a very difficult time communicating with each other properly. They are different type of people and speak different languages. A CFO

Same here. Had a terrible, terrible flu (?) back in 2017. I was weak and couldn’t smell nor taste anything for months. It took a long time before I was the old me. Maybe it’s common with virus diseases and we have an attention bias now and

I still love to share the UK report about the Delta variant from mid of June. Bottom-line: If you’re 2x vaccinated, hospitalization is highly unlikely for Alpha and Delta variants. See this report, page 44 bottom: https://assets.
