Oh man, I had so many ideas. It's true though that ideas per se are pretty worthless. Find a problem or a need people have and then think about how one might solve it / serve it. That's why I think you can just freely share a

Love this advice. I think it reduces the complexity of a difficult problem to a well-known process. It is also very much in line with Mark Suster's advice on finding a co-founder: Hire him/her. Source: https://bothsides

Hi! Cool product :) 2 questions: - Are these really 1-to-1 calls? Looks more like a room where many could join? - It's not limited to twitter, is it? I could share it anywhere, right?

I’m pretty sure this can be explained by the age distributions. Key part is page 44 where they calculate risks.

Good catch. I assume the first number includes mostly children since Delta is mostly spreading through schools and children won't get any vaccine.

It’s confirming data published by UK health authorities coming to the same conclusion. If you’re 2x vaccinated, hospitalization is highly unlikely for Alpha and Delta variants. See this report, page 44 bottom: https://assets.publ

Your last paragraph is very interesting. Yet, I’m much more positive regarding that scenario. I think it’s helps to look at wood as an analogy. Dead wood could not be broken down for a long time. That’s why we ended up with dead trees turne

The article is paywalled. From what one can read: >The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said in a short statement on Sunday that Didi’s app, often referred to as the Uber of China, has seriously violated the country’s laws and r

Even with an effective treatment, you would need to (a) either impose strict lockdown rules or (b) accept a meltdown of the healthcare system without a vaccine. What would you choose?

I agree with everything you say. What I’m saying is different though. I’m arguing that even if COVID had a 0 death rate but the same hospitalization rate and severity, we’d still be vaccinating everyone. Because we decided to protect our he

Interesting. So Sauerkraut and Sushi have similar roots. Sauerkraut was also fermented in the old days. Now, vinegar is used, which btw kills any useful fermentation bacteria.
