As a Northern living in the South, I've found the exact opposite. People seem to be more friendlier down here. Let's make some more generalizations.

Totally disagree - sure some people my be motivated by status but to say that's the most of the reason? no, no, no. I'd say more of the motivation comes from taking control of your environment and crafting something from your own

Paying attention to peoples' actions is more important than their words. I've heard it before but I never really paid attention to it until this year. I decided to take a new job based on the actions of my supervisors rather than

Learn to experience rejection and move on. You're going to experience it whether you like or not so it's best to figure out how to deal with it.

Why is it awkward? Just tell them you've moved on with the relationship, whatever kind it was prior. Why are people so afraid of the truth? Why do we always tip-toe around things like this - it's not like you purposely tried to ma

This is an amazing discovery. I'm surprised it isn't more prevalent in the news. This whisker issue has been a thorn in the side of many since ROHS was implemented. The biggest impact with this I see is safer, more reliable planes. How exci

I have to respectively disagree with you; a business can grow with part-time investment, it just won't be growing as quick as if it were a full-time position. Sure, it might not have worked out this time, as many startups don't, but I'm sur

That's insane, this guy has his hands in everything. I believe he's also had his hand in solar energy (SolarCity), and was involved in PayPal. Just reading his wiki and apparently he can even beat Russia's Putin in Judo. I usually take ever

Yea I'm pretty sure with LTE that's possible. It's definitely not with 3G or below though. But overall, I've never been happy with any smartphone. I pay $80/month for unlimited data, 350 minutes, unlimited texts. After time, it always slows

I'm not bashing anyone but there must be some observations made obvious. He's lived in Chicago, the Bulls comment makes sense. Appealing to his home town. "NOT BAD" - do you REALLY think he knew to say that or do you think someone prompted

Reddit was successful prior to Digg going to version 4. They just received more users after Digg's move. I wonder how many... But your second point on the owners letting reddit run itself is spot on. They just made sure the site worked (

I lived in NYC for a bit so I'll tell you what I liked and what I didn't. One of the things I liked the most was the subway and public transportation system. I didn't have a car at the time and the system was relatively cheap. The system
