+1 for spelling creativity. Really, though, I agree. Is the fact that the chose to rewrite their (failing) browser engine the reason that the company failed? Sounds more like an attempt to plug the hole in the company.

This puts into words the way I feel so often when I try out a new app. I found your app, so something has directed me here. Once I've determined whether I like it or not, then MAYBE I'll tell my friends to get on it. Another metap

Yeah, I completely agree. It starts to get a bit confusing when you have a BackEndInCSharp that goes through a javaWebServer before reaching iOS. We tend to have a hard time being consistent once we get to iOS, but that's due also to t

While I hate email marketing, I have to say that some of the specifics you mention are valid. If you give me something for looking through your email, I won't hate you. Personalization beyond just throwing in my name (ANYONE can do tha

When I see the new screenshots, I can only think of the old, maybe 2003 era Microsoft Powerpoint themes. I haven't quite been able to pin down what about it is drawing the parallel for me, but it is. Having an unfortunately difficult t

By far my favorite response to a confirmed bug. We use Jira, and unfortunately don't have that option configured, it's always a fun one to use ;)

Boy, if you take this a bit too seriously, you're going to end up putting yourself out of a job. I could write this new product... but the market is already saturated with products that kind of already do this... they probably don't need mi

This, to me, is most valid point. Even if the company does start putting cash in your wallet, if you don't believe in it, or the people leading it, or their business model, you're not going to be happy.

Well, right, but what if that payment never comes? At what point do you say, "I will not make money here, I need to get a job to support myself?" When the company closes its doors (supposing it even has an office)?

Same -- I have used shortstuffsushi for every account since 5th grade, to set up my first AIM account (boy, that feels like forever ago). People who know me in real life are able to identify me by that handle, so if I use it, it's really no

Funny, had exactly the same thought. Surprised this is front page material.
