This is exactly what I was feeling. Hey, you have a cool idea, and you don't necessarily want to create an additional login account (which would add yet another security risk to each user)? Don't use facebook, because clearly NO ONE uses that </sarcasm>. Really though, I think that the target market for ... social people... who want to have social gatherings... would likely be people on Facebook. Just because HN in large hates Facebook for XYZ reasons, not all of which are unjustified, I really don't think it's fair to shout at the developers for choosing to use it.
