In my case, the problem went beyond that. They put in patch that made the BLE transmit out of spec. Plus their lack of support added at least 3 months to our launch dates. We had everything in place but couldn't launch because of Wifi

Broadcom's documentation sucked and will continue to suck because of their customer strategy. As a company their goal has always been to focus on high volume customers. I don't have a problem with that, except that they were also

Whenever I see twitter's share price mentioned, I think of Damodaran's valuation of Twitter stock - $18. His academic approach may be more accurate than hyped up numbers. See http://aswathdamodaran.blogspot.com/201

I found the work on classifying the results, sorting them more interesting. Posting to a slack channel as a bot today could easily have been a perl script bot writing to an IRC channel 10 years ago. That's hardly innovative. The really

The headline is slightly click-bait. Most the work is outside slack - parsing Craigslist, classifying etc.. The slack channel bit is one part of the puzzle. The article itself says there are 4 steps and devotes 2 paras to slack. I guess the

My startup failed last year. It wasn't the greatest feeling to be back searching for a job. I did find a good job and I'm at a good place now. I joined as a developer. I was the CTO of my startup and was a senior architect looking

Our startup failed early this year. We didn't make any money and while we did have a few interested clients, to keep going we needed funding that didn't come. End of the day, it was the wrong product. Period. So - lesson learned.
