The problem remains since many people don’t know or understand Hindi. Unlike many other countries, there isn’t one single ‘native’ language. English is the only one that currently transcends barriers. Hindi could become that in the future.

AFAIK TI has always been very opensource friendly. All their SOCs are mainlined and maintained including pretty old ones. Now if Broadcom starts to be opensource friendly then that would be a real change of heart.
