I have an SSD, Firefox still takes a few seconds to open. Chrome is instant.

Wow, this is really cool. I like that the construction is stored in the hash for easy sharing. Thanks for posting!

Hey parents, instead of trying to filter your internet connection to 'protect' your child, why not... Er... Parent? Teach him/her what not to do online, why, and how to stay safe. Filters will always be on step behind.

Hit "Play Demo" and it went fullscreen with no indication of loading. Nothing appears to happen even if you wait. What is going on? Firefox Nightly 24.0a1 (2013-06-02)

First came the Xbox, then the Xbox 360, and the last Xbox is called the Xbox One. Hence the confusion. :P

We have vote/flag links for a reason. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that it's here because a large majority of HN users voted it here... because they found it to be of interest... Just guessing...

Hehe, I came here to point this out as well. People are all too quick to jump on the "e-currency is for bad things!" band wagon thinking their precious pounds and dollars are squeaky clean.

You mean exactly the same way that pound sterling and dollar are used for illegal things too?

Smooth as silk, Firefox v24 (Nightly). I'm seeing approx 60FPS with no visible CPU/GPU load. Wonderful! :D

That is abysmal . Have you no option of changing provider? Perhaps it is a local issue due to poor wiring quality? Dial up is better than that...

As I understand it, this is not true. Personally, I like to hit the windows key, type "fi", and hit enter to start Firefox. On Win7 this is a pleasant experience, on Win8 I feel like I'm being punched in the face by a wall of colour.

Heh, sorry. Perhaps I should have used a ':P' emoticon. I didn't intend on being mean. It's a dick move because it takes advantage of their systems to do things they clearly don't want you doing.

The act of abusing this script to store large files at Yahoo's expense is a dick move, but writing this script is not a dick move.

Nope. UK have Orange, Italy have WIND. They are the same company, have the same branding - same everything - but it still costs me an arm and a leg to use my phone when I'm in Italy.

I never said I could not or would not accept arguments against PHP. I fully accept that PHP is somewhat broken. I merely expressed that I'm tired of hearing "PHP SUCKS LOL" and watching many PHP articles get flagged, while other languages w
