While this is true at some level, there are certain benefits to performance tested, well-thought-out libraries that encapsulate good approaches to problems the standard library does not solve. I think the bigger problem was that it seemed l

I want people to be able to merge via the Github PR flow, just not push directly without going through a PR. That doesn't seem possible from the blog post?

Reading the fine print of the reservations, I am a little surprised to see how non-binding the $1000 reservations are. A few tidbits: It can be canceled by you (this is a good thing) or Tesla (not great...), it might be an input to your &qu

We've been using Riemann since 2013 and love it! If you're coming from Nagios (or not), and you'd like something that will schedule Nagios event scripts (and others) and send them to Riemann, I have been using this in product

I read through your post, and I am curious; what is the reasoning driving having metrics split across partitions, rather than partitioning by metric itself?

An important thing to note is that Neti is no longer required as Amazon has implemented ClassicLink [1] which solves the problem in a much tidier way. [1] https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/classiclink-private-commun

This could be solved an even more fundamental way: Don't run your own mailer as a startup. There are lots of companies that will be responsible for email deliverability on your behalf, via an API. If it took them 3 months to notice no
