Gah, I love Figma. Heres to hoping it doesn’t go downhill. $20B price is interesting, Canva was valued at $25B recently and does way less.

Yeah. I got a Smart TV recently and with the YouTube app started seeing ads again. I think I have to just stream from my laptop instead of using the apps :(. Probably better that way though, typing with the remote is terrible!

Lol, torrents or finding DVDs are always the alternative for me. I want to support these companies but it’s so infuriating the way they treat users, even implicitly with the user experience. I have HBO which has been great. Criterion too. D

I've paid for plenty of things with wire transfers to another person, domestically and internationally, without any complaints from my bank. Writing a check isn't always feasible depending on where they are.

Network of what? Just in general? Now that conferences are back that's usually a great way, combined with local meetups / co-working depending on what city you're in.

Yay, maybe fewer amazon recruiter emails now. I figure their recruiting team is big but they were sending 4-5 emails a day from different recruiters which feels like a lot! Certainly seems like tech hiring is about to slow down like crazy,

It's pretty easy to get one now. You can just sign up for a wait list on amazon and be notified with a 72 hour purchase link. My friend did that a few weeks ago and got one in 2 days, no hassle, at retail.
