Some activities can be linked to services that will run with no regards to the Activity lifespan. Most implementations will have a stopService in the Activitie's onDestory so if that's the case killing a task may disable a running process.

A friend of mine lend me is iPod Touch. To get it working with Wifi or connect it to iTunes running on windows is a very painful process. I didn't had these problems (No need using the iTunes in the first place)with the G1, Motorola Droid,

Its all a fab. A year ago engineers and corporates around the world made sure they have an iPhone app no matter the expense, and now everyone start to abandon the idea.

From I seen so far unless you're playing with low level stuff the software is consistent across the devices. For now Android is far from the J2ME scenario, let's hope it will stay that way.

They got a point. IE has its own venerabilities and Chrome has some too, maybe less maybe more. Also we can factor the plugin since it can have its own security risks. So statically IE using the Chrome Frame is more exposed then IE alone. I

Tried it while touring Fiji, sitting with the locals having a laugh. Its really mild, no big effect, good for socializing...

It was inevitable that the feds will step in. If MS would have controlled any software running on Windows then how good would have Windows be? But that would have never fly! Same here once you release a software product that carries an API

I don't see the point, Android is using a Chrome version, so if you'll take Android remove Dalvik then you're getting a new OS? By that definition I can remove all my apps from my Vista laptop except the browser and what do I get, an IE OS?

If MS would have enforce such a strict policy on Windows, imagine how many stability and security issues would have been solved in an instance. But this is just a pipe dream, there is no way MS would be let to get away with such practices,
