I remember hearing in a morning radio show people are saying that the iPhone is the best thing ever because it can play and record farts. From a market point of view it is revolutionary but not from the technical side.

If you build a web app you must test it on IE, WM is the third biggest mobile OS for smartphones, and that's before desktops. Sorry PG I can't agree with you on this account.

The article says that Android holds 5% of the total of the smartphones market, and iPhone accounts for 50% of the web traffic, but doesn't state its market share. The title require some adjustment.

C# is my favourite language, its just right... Mono garbage collection isn't perfect, on mobile devices this could be fatal. It sounds like the Mono boys are trying to find some fame.

I have to disagree about the Java part. After developing for WM, j2ME, BB and Android I found iPhone is a mystery. Apple knew what they were doing making people downloading those applications. You've have got fart apps for all platforms and
