Amd Twitter will be slammed in a bipartisan effort because everyone hates them equally, left and right. Can't say I'll feel sorry when section 230 gets absolutely destroyed under Biden - these companies more than earned it.

This is what happens when you let extremists roam around with impunity for 9 months. Even if they were previously far-left, every action has a reaction of the same magnitude. The sooner media and social media companies are held accountable

Very curious how monoclonal antibodies seem to be usable for a very wide range of applications. I have been taking monoclonal antibodies every 2 weeks for more than a year now with Dupixent for atopic dermatitis. In my 30+ years on this ear

Infections are highly localized. I live in NYC and know about 25 people who had covid, myself included, from pretty much every community.

Hi, I am a LPR and applied for a GC for my spouse 1.5 years ago. Our I-130 was approved last March, however NVC has never receive the file. It seems that USCIS just never transferred the file to NVC even after more than 4 months. We have se

So because one of the "protesters" for BLM was literally holding a sign and going on live TV threatening to put fire to property, should we be equating all of BLM to that? See how a strawman argument works?

This whole riots debacle being endorsed and justified by the media has done more for the cause of gun ownership that the NRA ever could. I never ever considered owning a gun in my entire life, but I have one now and not afraid to use it if

So when we have notoriously violent neighborhoods, can we send all the social workers to spread love and friendship and solve the problem?. If you believe police is not needed as a form of authority, you have been living in a privileged bub

Amen. I will never ever trust an expert's opinion again, and I know many others who are equally disgusted. This is a sad day for science and these experts should be ashamed.

Wholeheartedly agree. I'm in my 30's with scientific education, but I will never take an "expert" opinion seriously after this. Very sad to see science shoot itself in the foot in the name of dubious politics.

When I see health experts saying we can have groups of up to 12 people outside BUT protests up to 100 people, it really does not look good for the credibility of these experts. Nobody denies that the pandemic is/was a real thing. But a

Coming from a country where police has been rendered completely toothless by the same policies some people in this country are trying to promote which led to literally lawless areas, I am completely against this movement that's current

What is your evidence that children actually do transmit the virus efficiently? I have seen multiple independent studies from different countries coming down with a very similar conclusion that children are not good vectors for this thing t

I like Twitter, I really do. But Jack's statement make no sense. If Twitter wants to step over its bounds as a platform, then it will absolutely be scrutinized as such. What I find incredibly dishonest is that Twitter's head of &q

Not just per capita, but what we need to look at is the ratio of number of test done to number of positives. Otherwise a country that does close to no testing might have the illusion of doing very well, just like a country doing tons of tes

Of course, but we knew that weeks ago from various research studies. This is why closing schools is an extremely poor idea. I suspect with the number of countries in Europe reopening schools, this will put pressure in the US on states still

Anecdotal evidence does not a trend make. How about saying "Young, healthy people die of the flu every year"? You have to look at trends. And it's been clear for a while that young, healthy people have a risk fo dying from co

I can't think of anyone in my office who wants to permanently work from home. We talk about it every week, and it's become clear that everyone is looking forward to the day where offices reopen. I really don't see this trend

There are recent research papers supporting that theory, and lowering the threshold for herd immunity much lower to 30-40% If that is the case then places like NYC are probably pretty close.

People seem to forget that in this area of the world, the yearly season for corona viruses starts in June... Same for Australia. So unless they can maintain this type of lockdown for the next 6 months, they will see a resurgence, just as th
