Not really for me. Maybe I have a good bullshit detector. And the method I describe above is the only good thing about recruiting. I also like to look at code samples and commit messages if possible. They have to be good communicators.

Hahha no. But there are definitely similarities. There has to be chemistry in the team. I've worked on teams where one guy is a social dud. It drained the team to work with him. That hurts morale.

But were they a cultural fit? I've come to learn that , for me, a cultural fit is as important as skill. If the guy I hire has awesome cultural fit but lacks the skill, then we work to bring him up. Good cultural fit means I'm mor

Do you think there is a level of political correctness that people cannot pierce in "polite conversation?" I feel that this is the case in Sweden. There are so many topics of discussion that are taboo that people avoid them. And,

Agree with @acesubido on the ebooks. In fact, I would abstract this to any intellectual property that you can put into a marketplace. (books, apps, designs, etc). I have an old account at Zazzle.com where I throw up funny sayings and design

Yeah, right. With all due respect, that is bullshit. Say this to the Jewish community in Malmo, Sweden. The violence they have suffered at the hands of violent Islam is not a statistical anomaly. Say this to the Jewish community in Copenhag

You may be officially "at work" for that time in Sweden, but there are the countless fika breaks. I believe Swedish law calls for a minimum 5 minutes break per hour? (Not mandatory but an entitlement)

My guess would be that the Dems openly use more tech, thus giving them a much larger attack surface. I.e.- more opportunities for an attacker to exploit.
