What's up with Techcrunch? Is this article an advertisement? It seems like an advertorial, though a lot of TC seems like that these days. Is this the writer's friends company?

Great idea but please change the splash image. I get that she's disgusted but I would rather see what I like (clean bathroom) than what I don't like (lady that probably stepped in something awful).

I've had ocd for 33 years (I'm 43). I always thought I could tame it...eventually. It's as bad now as it's ever been. I live with it. I perform constant, ludicrous rituals. I'm thankful that my SO puts up with me. I

Stop down voting this guy so much. I can barely read the comments they are so faint. :) I'm actually glad he's saying this stuff. It just proves there are plenty of narrow minded people out there and, unfortunately, many of them

I think Uber will be disrupted/destroyed by something more driver friendly. They offer nothing that will keep a contractor loyal. All it would take is another 'app' that offers more autonomy and a larger share of the profits.

I don't really agree with this. It's one thing to not have the flag flying at a capitol building and quite another to stop sales of all Dukes Of Hazard toys.

Absolutely. That is a fantastic book. I gave a copy to my neurosurgeon as well (meningioma resection, benign).

I love Woody Allen's work and I am happy to read this article. However, its inclusion on HN somewhat dilutes HN's raison d'etre.

"The 22-year-old graduated last year with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and studio art that cost more than a quarter-million dollars." ....how is this even possible?

I'm very interested in this book. However, the author leaves no way for me to be updated when it's released. I have to bookmark the page and check later if I remember. For a book on automating, that's asking a lot of me. ;)

I would love it if HBO adopted Netflix' model. I hate getting it doled out bit by bit. Let us binge watch and get on with things.

This is amazing. While it seems a bit scattershot as far as relationships to other genres (what do the colours mean?), this is a really cool way to discover music. Kudos!

I'm not sure how you can guarantee a two-week turnaround without first knowing the scope of the project. Also, 7500 EUR can buy a lot of dev time. Is the value prop the speed of development?
