They are focused on reducing costs in order to survive. Pure and simple. Alphabet / Google doesn’t have that issue. OAI and other money losing firms do.

There’s a weird thing going on - I can see value in using LLM’s to put something together so you can see it rather than investing time to do it properly initially. But to just copy, paste and move on… terrible.

You are correct. I wouldn’t waste your time arguing with people who don’t get it. Those people don’t tend to have a good understanding of what most humans like and why they like stuff like music.

Auto tune is not what makes a song a hit. What make a song a hit is the fact that the person who injected the use of auto tune has taste. This seems to fly over the heads of many. art is about taste.
