we have a number of airline credit cards that give us free check-in, which is way less stressful on both departure and arrival procedure. So i can minimize the time spent sitting inches from strangers in a seat that is too small for me.

even after optimizing your rails app, you still need to send HTML to your users through the interwebs. you can optimize this by routing all requests through a CDN even if you’re not caching pages at the edge. cdn to your data center uses hi

Why do you prefer an HTTP API versus a DB connection? Isn't the former going to inherently have the overhead cost of creating the connection + TLS handshakes? My question is similar, which is, is CockroachDB going to have an equivalent

As a thought exercise, I thought about how I would architect a web application as a 1 man show with a relatively small amount of users. I tried to optimize for cost and very little devops at all. I still mull about it but so far, here is wh

I'd say you just have to dive in and try google or facebook ads with a clear goal in mind (like i want to convert 1 person to convert based on this copy). marketing/sales education isn't like a recipe that will always work. t
