Sad but true, 35W should translate to less power usage than 65W. Still waiting for Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 which appears to be at the sweet spot for battery life, power and size.

Agreed, in 2018 Denmark followed the WHO recommendation and produced a flu vaccine for three types of the flu. Unfortunately a fourth type was the dominant type that year and that was not included in the vaccine. The vaccine for this year w

I fully agree that test accuracy is a problem and that cause of death when Corona virus is involved varies a lot between countries. Excess mortality could be one way of getting more information, though I don’t know when those data are avail

My wording could be better I admit and yes I have looked at the NYC numbers that show 86% of deaths are due to underlying illnesses, source: https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2020/04/07/

Let’s hope that the vaccine works and can be applied to those with the highest risk, e.g. elderly with underlying diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. As an aside in Sweden most Corona deaths are located in the capital Stockholm. It

I think many European countries could do the same, Denmark also had its fair share of the demo scene back in the day. I still remember names such as Kefrens and Dexion and it’s a bit amazing to find a detailed account of a demo event that t

Now half of the 21 days have passed and NC have officially registered 117 deaths, so they thankfully won’t reach 4000 deaths in the remaining 10 days. Data from New York points to Hypertension and Diabetes in the elderly as the main cause

It is commendable to search for solutions to the Corona virus. But the author is doing himself a disservice by saying that tens of millions of people worldwide will die. And why is it a bad thing to have to be vaccinated on a yearly basis,

Physical distancing is important if you are old (>65 years) or have a pre-existing condition. The remainder should treat Corona as they do with the common flu, that is what the data is telling us. References https://www.global

Indeed, if anything you should be comparing Italy with New York. The data for Corona virus points to elderly in poor health and people with pre-existing illnesses being at risk. If you don’t agree please explain how Monaco with a very old b

If you live in Bangladesh then Corona within the country will not be an issue, population of 165M with 17 Corona deaths registered. Median age is 27.6 years by the way. Trade with other countries probably will be affected in a big way.

It all depends on how well the very old and those with other chronic illnesses will be protected, as they are the ones at risk. The development for NC can be followed at https://www.ncdhhs.gov/divisions/public-health&#x

So in 21 days the number of deaths will be 4000, while Belgium with a similar population is at almost 1500 currently. That sounds rather unlikely given that the population in Belgium is also older than in North Carolina.

I agree that immunity is what will help curb the virus, in Denmark “Herd immunity” is the unofficial strategy. I do think that a Corona pass would only make sense for certain parts of the population only, e.g. the very old and those with ot

Is there any data that can support that 10x claim just yet? An example: In the US state North Carolina there has been 33 deaths to Corona so far, source: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

It’s not just about restrictions but also new discoveries and a more nuanced coverage than what the big media and government decides to tell us. Anything that can support critical and informed thinking really.

Should we also get a “Flu pass 2020”, seeing as the common flu can also be quite deadly? And if the virus mutate into a new variant what then, another pass? For those with chronic diseases and the very old, the next 6-12 months will be very

In the same boat here, my estimate is around ~250.000, which is 3x as bad as the 2017-18 flu season in the US. But i guess none of us have any real idea at this point. Some mitigation does seem possible if this report can be trusted: https

Remember that sick != dead, unless you have risk factors, 60+ or is immunocompromised in which case you should do everything you can to stay at home and practice distancing.

Got any data to support your claim, otherwise I could argue that risk factors, 60+, immunocompromised are the MAJOR concerns as stated above. Looking to Italy and Spain seems to confirm this view.

What makes it very likely that the US will not see a situation similar to the one in Italy is the following: * Lower amount of population with High blood pressure. * Lower median age. * Not having the same one big family model as in

What if the vaccine program for school children that ended in 1994 has introduced a slower spread of virus ? Interestingly, that program had a real impact on the flu, but was still discontinued, link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
