I don't even find Amazon cheap. Walmart online is often cheaper. Where does that leave Amazon? I don't buy anything anymore. Digikey and Walmart online are my prime online stores

Fundementally this is the benefit of Linux. Google provides a nice fortune 500 solution to everything, but you could layer up and delete most of Google's packages. It's a distro, you can still install extra stuff

Idk man. Just to make a useful app I need to understand servers, databases, backend frameworks (for security), and front end. Maybe it's finding creative solutions, but today there is a lot to know.

Do you need a windows os to send a signal to the satalites? No. But for some reason the op implied windows was to blame without evidence. I mentioned the implausibly of it. Op is misleading people.

Are there windows operating systems in the satalites? The only thing those satalites need to do is, accept signal, do math, and transmit signal. I don't see why you would use Windows for this.
