Thanks for the feedback. Education is for sure an underserved market. One of the reason is the high barrier to entry. It's a completely different ballgame when you're selling to schools rather than small businesses. Having a bundled lesson

Use a read later service like Instapaper. You wouldn't want to be reading HN all day because that would just be counter productive. At some point, you have to ignore what's going on and get back to work.

I had a terrible experience years back (no longer with them now). If it works, it works well, but when it's down, it goes down for almost 24 hours!

Harvest is great. We use them to track our time as well as to bill our clients. However, I think OP is asking more accounting rather than tracking/invoicing clients apps.

Go through sortfolio or websites like that and pick out a style you like. Many agencies stick with one style. One of the examples is Metalab. I'm sure you all know their style. We do more of a modern minimalistic style at http://www.design

Been with LiquidWeb for over a year now and their support team is excellent. Just started on their new service, Storm On Demand, but can't really give an opinion yet.
