Agreed. Though it should not become a youtube, where you can find anything. The reason I like Netflix is because its a great place to watch a few things well. I too feel TED is a welcome addition.

Wonder what makes Netflix more desirable with this partnership. TED content is free AFAIK. Some benefits I can think of: - Making TED content more accessible across devices/platforms? (Netflix has better device reach) - Applying Netflix's

One of my friend got a notice from Optimum Online for downloading Adobe Photoshop sometime last year. So I think yes, there is marginal policing that is going on form ISPs already. I think this probably is a better solution than RIAA going

Agree, that is an option to make it easier to decide to upgrade. The question is are you (and the others who sold their iPad2) gadget freaks that lust for new stuff, or do you really see a value in the upgrade. What I am trying to figure ou

Wonder how many are willing to upgrade from Ipad 2? I have an Ipad 2, I don't see a need to upgrade. I am sure the tablet devices will follow a similar cycle as iPhone. Upgrade once in 2 years. I am beginning to wonder, the only aspects tha

I cannot agree more on this. I am facing a similar predicament and with me being here in India right now around my mom. I have taught her how to copy and paste files from PC to USB drive. She is a teacher, speaks english and is generally ad

Good article. On a tangential note about shoplocket, I feel it is focused entirely on the seller. You can allay some of my fears as a buyer about the guarantees and security I have buying through this. It says risk free, but again for the

Here are the problems that I have constantly seen: - You can hardly track them - There is no prior appointment made before delivery. You have to be on the lookout. - Unreliable. They rarely keep up their time/day. - You miss the delivery a

It would take way more than just a price comparison/best-deal site to compete (let even kill) Flipkart. Flipkart is executing certain things in this market very well: - 1) A fantastic delivery/courier system (in major cities). They have hom

Maybe its more fundamental? - People do it if they know they aren't going to be exposed (like downloading illegally) and they won't if there was a way to expose them (say via facebook/blog)? Just a theory. I still believe downloading illega

I am not sure if people here acknowledge stealing/pirating movies/music as an acceptable act. What we want is for the movies that we genuinely purchase (be it as a DVD or a direct download), to be more accessible and available on different

So, I am guessing, the ATT will not be leveraging their partner networks much now. I was in MN back then (when I took the trip). ATT was expanding then in north mid-west. Even in MN, their coverage improved between 2007-2010. I was driving

Interesting, I dint know that. I had an interesting experience with ATT. I was into the 6 month of a 2year contract back in 2007. I wasn't using my phone much (non-iphone). But then I went on a road trip to Yellowstone, which included dri

I am not surprised or in awe that he is putting in 16 hours a day. Every passionate founder would likely be doing it. I am sure most of us have heard Steve Job's on how building a company is usually a 18x7 work-week. What I am in awe and ad
