If he's pissed at this, imagine how pissed he'll become when he enters the ridiculous Android ecosystem. Anyway, he's free to choose whatever, but I have to nitpick here: 1. macOS 26 - a fiasco? Come on. A lot of like the liq

I literally the other week had the choice between using requests and httpx. I chose httpx after deliberating a bit. I don't need async capabilities right now but I figured it'll be more consistent if that changes later.

You'd be surprised how much that happens. They'll sweet talk their way back and that's how these relationships often survive.

How about Equinor? They are suing the US govt for stopping the wind projects.

Let's take Zawinski's old law up a notch: "Every program attempts to expand until it has a built in LLM."

I have an i3 though and the range is perfect for my use. Town, school, office etc. I just put it on charge when I get back, or the next day.

$20k at least here in South Africa. $5k sounds like insane value.

Yes that new one is not an i3, not even in spirit. The original i3 was super light, quirky, fun, innovative in so many ways. They just didn't sell enough. People wanted more boring cars.

Have you even tried it? I'm a Mac user for 20+ years and I'm running Tahoe. Not once have I ever thought about Apple Intelligence. I don't even notice it. I think you have to switch it on.

Aka why Linux on the desktop still sucks in 2026, sadly. Dave Plummer said the other day on Twitter: Linux is great, but on the desktop it's terrible.

Great! Btw I am looking for 3d anatomical models that are high grade quality. But hard to find unless you pay $100k

Well written and clearly not AI generated. So refreshing these days.

Glad it worked out for you. I am in South Africa so there still aren't many charging stations but we're getting there. Most people charge from their houses though and that's what I do as well. With solar it's practically

That is very cool! I can see myself keeping this car for a long time. It's just so well built and the interior is also something to behold (compared to a lot of cars). Range is not an issue at the moment (we have a Land Cruiser for lon

Funny how I'm downvoted for even mentioning an i3. I've also heard several comments insinuating that I must be gay for driving such a car. Are we still there in 2026?

You don't want the range extender - it makes it fiddly and potentially unreliable. As for the range, I'm getting about 110 miles of range. It depends how you drive. This is the 94Ah battery, the later models had more range.

Recently bought a second hand BMW i3 - what a cool car! Not planning to 'hack' it but nice to read about ideas.

> I know Bun's using zig to a degree of success, was wondering how the rest were doing. Just a degree of success?

by sgt 8mo ago
I have heard that from other Zig devs too. Must get a bit annoying as the project grows. But I guess it will be supported sooner or later.
476.
by sgt 8mo ago
Does Zig have incremental builds yet? Or is it 20 secs each time for your build.

by sgt 8mo ago
Yeah, I think in order to become an actual senior developer you'll need to do actual coding and not only vibe coding. Otherwise you'll never get the full understanding of how things actually work.

Maybe this is intentional? Either way, doesn't look bad.
