Since the benefits seem to be linked to ketosis, I believe we’re talking about fasts longer than 1-3 days, since that’s typically how long it takes to reach ketosis. So anywhere from 1-14 days, I would think.

That does make sense, but I guess what I still don’t understand is how light can be reflected by a mirror (made of atoms) so precicely that it doesn’t hide sub-atomic differences. Won’t the light hit "different atoms" on the mirro
