Yup, custom domains are possible on Cloudfuji, because we're running the vast majority on Cloud Foundry OSS, which does support custom domains. CloudFoundry.com doesn't support custom domains yet while it's in beta, but I'm sure it's on its

We're not a Cloud Foundry company, we really don't care about PaaS that much. We just needed something that fit our unique use case and that, in case the PaaS vendor didn't feel the same sense of urgency that we did for something we need, w

There isn't a standard way right now, though we'd be happy to add that in! In the most manual case, we can give you any kind of database export you'd like. Our goal is to make the data for a user owned by the user - so when you move from

What is plug&play? Is it a concept similar to Microsoft's driver system, or is it a startup, or is it a standard for API designers?

This is totally awesome, thank you for writing this Matt. That said, my argument against Clojure is the sheer weight Java interop demands (I always found myself dealing with far more Java than I would have liked). And with Clojurescript,

We make heavy use of Cloud Foundry, and have modified existing services and written an entirely new on and integrated it all via the included bus system. It seems like a logical enough design (though the code can be messy at times, it's alr

We use Errbit heavily internally at Cloudfuji in a way that's not really possible with most open source setups. We're able to track all the errors when apps are run on our platform, so we can funnel that back into app development - and any

Not yet, but we want to, definitely. We build on top of the Heroku and Cloud Foundry PaaS's of the world, so we haven't decided on the right way to standardize it. Feel free to reach out to me at sean at cloudfuji, and let's chat a bit. By

It's hard to get a CRM that pleases most people and at the same time doesn't get in the way for most people - we have some strong opinions about why that is, and we'll be writing about it soon. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for the congrats, it means a lot! We changed from Bushi.do to Cloudfuji mainly because we had difficulty getting the bushido.com tld, and it just wasn't worth it. So, we did the scrappy startup thing, rebranded and launched. As an un

There's Cloud Foundry https://github.com/cloudfoundry/vcap , but it may be slightly too magical for you. We've been able to modify the it and integrate new services into it fairly painlessly once we got over the initial hurdle.

Currently yes. I've added a ticket https://github.com/cloudfuji/kandan/issues/20 to see how we'll fix that up. Is there a reason you don't have a place to drag from?

The fact that it's open source is very important to us, and that (along with it having a wonderful design) will serve as the kernel that'll move Kandan in an amazing direction. With things like WebRTC and javascript audio/video decoders and

Thanks - Akash Manhor ( https://twitter.com/hashnuke ) made both of those decisions early on in Kandan's life. There have been challenges around both, but overall it's worked out very well - in fact, the faye interface opens up some really

Good point - we wanted to keep it as open as possible, and as easy to get started as possible. Hence the (literally) copy/paste instructions to get running on somewhere like Heroku, with no need to provision other services. But obscurity is
